In the busyness of boardrooms and deadlines, servant leadership can be forgotten. But as “Vocation of the Business Leader: A Reflection” reminds us, true leaders respond with humility—like Jesus washing His disciples’ feet.
This isn’t weakness, but strength rooted in faith.
“Wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church.” - St. Ignatius of Antioch
On his feast day, we honor a bishop & martyr who gave everything for Christ and His Church.
May his witness inspire us to remain united in Jesus & His Church.
St. Ignatius, pray for us.
If you are anxious or feeling alone, find consolation in the words of St. Teresa of Avila: “If Christ dwells in you as your friend and noble leader, you can endure all things for Christ helps and strengthens us. He will never abandon us!”
On her feast day, we look to Saint Teresa of Avila not only as a reformer and mystic, but as a model of courageous, faithful leadership. Her life reminds us that true renewal—of self, of institutions, of culture—begins in prayer.
Saint Teresa of Ávila, pray for us
How I start each silent time in prayer:
Lord I know You’re here. I know You’re with me. I know You’re good.
I am a sinner. A terrible sinner. I deserve only death and worse.
Come Holy Spirit. Please come into my heart. Empty what is from me. Teach me how to pray.
Yesterday, the Church celebrated the feast of Saint Carlo Acutis—a young saint who reminds us that sanctity is not distant or abstract. It is possible here and now, through a life centered on the Eucharist.
May St. Carlo’s example renew in us a deeper devotion to the Eucharist.
“Go and fear nothing. I will help you.” - Our Lady of Champion
Today, on October 9, we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lady of Champion, a powerful reminder of Mary’s ongoing presence and maternal care.
Our Lady of Champion, pray for us.
Scenes from 2025 Men’s Enclave
To commence the Enclave, 25 men came together for a dining experience at River Wildlife. Before dinner, each member stood to introduce himself & share his “why” for joining Legatus.
Keep holding these men in prayer as they continue their time!
“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.” (Luke 1:28)
Today, on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Church invites us to contemplate the life of Christ through the eyes of His Mother.
In praying the Rosary, we join Mary in pondering the mysteries of our salvation.
“Enter into the joy of your Master.” (Matthew 25:23)
We look forward with anticipation to our 2026 Summit. This annual event will once again bring together members from across the country for an unforgettable time of authentic faith formation, fellowship, and renewal.
Join us in praying for the Legatus members who will be at the annual Men’s Enclave next week!
These members will enjoy a time of prayerful rest & fellowship!

Last week, our Board of Governors gathered for our annual meeting in Ann Arbor.
We’re pleased to welcome two new members to the board: Ray Bishop and Joe Giglio, who were joined by their wives, Teri Bishop and Debbie Giglio.
Please pray for our Board of Governors!
“For He commands His angels with regard to you, to guard you wherever you go.” - Ps 91:11
Today, we honor Saints Michael, Gabriel, & Raphael, who remind us of God's constant presence & protection.
May they strengthen us to live as ambassadors for Christ!
