I know this will cause severe backlash from some, and I know this "isn't the place," but I feel an obligation to say this using my small platform. Please read this post. Please share this post. We all just want what is best for the country, its people, and the world, and we are headed down an extremely dark path. All you have to do is look at the history books and you will see the same story time and time again. This post isn't an attack on anyone, just trying to share what seems to be very clearly happening and hopefully making some people stop and think a little more. An appeal to reason.
This is a sign at the Holocaust Museum, the vast majority of these are blatantly happening in the wide open right now:
EARLY WARNING SIGNS OF FASCISM:
Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
- Yes, don't feel like I need to explain more, this one is obvious. America First above ALL else is essentially the whole platform at this point
Disdain for Human Rights
- ICE seemingly has no laws they have to follow, rounding up whoever they feel like, using drones to blow up suspected drug boats in international waters, all of this without due process or proof, while bragging about it on social media and posting videos of human beings chained up, or being blown up
Identification of Enemies as a Unifying Cause
- Again, don't have to say much here, clearly: immigrants, and democrats are The Enemy. Stated ALL the time
Supremacy of the Military
- $300 million military parade on his birthday/anniversary, posturing and talking about how powerful we are as a nation and how everyone owes us everything
Rampant Sexism
- I will let women speak to this one
Controlled Mass Media
- They are working on this one, hard. Years of calling some stations fake news while glorifying others, using pressure to get people fired, removing many critical news outlets from WH Press room and replacing with blatant extreme outlets that are the opposite of critical
Obsession with National Security
- Build the wall, get immigrants out, GOLDEN DOME, sending national guard to cities
Religion and Government intertwined
- In the open, actively trying to intertwine the two as much as possible, weaponizing religion for their gain
Corporate Power Protected
- Cutting tax on huge corps, removing environmental regulations to increase profits, removing many consumer protections
Labor Power Suppressed
- Overtime threshold set at $35500 by Trump, Biden tried to raise to +35% in July of '24, with a planned raise to +75% Jan 1 '25, blocked by Texas judge in Nov '24, so we still have the very low overtime threshold, also shrunk union funding and legal power in 2018. No tax on tips is cool, I guess, but not sure why people who are tipped deserve to pay less tax for their work than anyone else, and general tax burden on lower class, which is many times who hold these service jobs, had some changes that could make other taxes go up (esp if you have kids). It feels like no tax on tips was a distraction technique, while giving HUGE tax cuts to the rich and corporations
Disdain for Intellectuals and The Arts
- This one really, really bothers me. "Smart people don't like me," dismantling the department of education, attacking all higher education constantly, even world famous places that are a HUGE part of what has made America so successful, so great, like Harvard. It makes absolutely zero sense. Education is so important
Obsession with Crime & Punishment
- Don't need to say much here. Alligator Alcatraz, mass deportations with seemingly zero laws they have to follow, sending the national guard to cities
Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
- Stacked the entire government with loyalists and friends, trump cypto, melania crypto, trump bible, trump cards, free boeing jet, it is just literally in the wide open. Oh, and EPSTEIN???? Biggest corruption scandal in the history of the presidency, vote to release Epstein files hit the Senate two weeks ago. All 47 dems voted to fully release the Epstein files. 49 of 51 republicans voted against the release. It did not pass, Epstein files not released. No one, literally no one on the planet, has any valid justification to not release these files. Ask yourself, why would ANYONE vote against the release? Every single one of them should lose their job.
Fraudulent Elections
- Have claimed for years our elections are rigged when every single credible study and report has found that they are not, claimed election was stolen which caused a group to literally break into the Capitol and try to overthrow the government, and then FULL PARDONED ALL OF THEM when he got re-elected. All of this is to make people doubt the validity of our election process so they can "step in to fix" and in the process do whatever they want.
- Asking, and successfully having, Texas gerrymander to get more seats in the House come midterms (YES, dem states are gerrymandered too, BUT in 2019 the House tabled a bill to federally ban gerrymandering. 220 Dems voted to pass, 209 Republicans voted against (that is all but 4 representatives accounted for).
This meant it passed the House, because of the dem majority at the time, but still had to get through Senate. It got to the Senate in 2021, where ALL 49 dems voted to pass, ALL 51 republicans voted no. So it did not pass, and gerrymandering remained fully legal. Again I see zero valid arguments for why gerrymandering should be legal.
It feels like many do not know these things are happening, or do not care... We need that to change, we need to be aware, we need to start caring. Which is why I am posting this on my silly video game stats website's Twitter account. If I can make one person stop and think a bit more, that is a success. I feel like I am painfully aware of everything going on, and I am obligated to share that while I have a chance.

“abolish capitalism!”
cool. who grows the food???
no seriously—who’s out there at dawn breaking their back in the dirt, fixing broken irrigation lines, replacing a tractor axle in 110° heat—for free? because you think profit is mean?
who mines the lithium for your laptop, the cobalt for your EV battery, the iron for your train rails? who refines it? who ships it? who builds the ships? who insures them when they catch fire in the middle of the ocean?
who unloads the containers at the port? who drives the truck across 4 states? who services the diesel engine at the roadside stop in Nebraska when it breaks at 3am?
who keeps track of inventory, repairs the refrigeration system, updates the software, cleans the floors, builds the shelves, trains the workers, manages the risk, pays the legal fees, replaces the lightbulbs, handles the theft, the overtime, the breakdowns, the lawsuits?
who coordinates all of this across time zones and continents without profit?
you think the whole supply chain is just gonna keep running because everyone suddenly caught a case of the warm fuzzies???
you think people are going to wake up and go do hard, thankless, physical labor for vibes?
capitalism doesn’t work because people are good. it works because people are selfish and it figured out how to harness that into infrastructure. it’s the only system that survives human nature without needing to rewrite it
you kill profit, you kill production. you kill production, you kill logistics. you kill logistics, and suddenly it’s day four of your anti-capitalist utopia and the shelves are empty, the power’s out, the pharmacy’s closed, and nobody knows how to fix a fucking thing
anti-capitalism isn’t a philosophy. it’s a death wish dressed up as a virtue signal
it’s the aesthetic of rebellion powered by an iPhone, subsidized by Uber Eats, and resting on 400 years of industrial infrastructure you take for granted because you’ve never built a single useful thing in your life
you’re not oppressed. you’re just ungrateful
and the second you get your little no-profit revolution, you’ll find out exactly how long society runs on vibes: about three days, give or take—then the generators fail and you’re boiling rainwater so you can heat up your shitty powdered food
@art_is_war R22 unit I'm guessing too so rip the unit. But definitely get a couple quotes for how much it's gonna cost. Don't let them talk you into getting an infinity system, ain't worth the price
@TrueTonyData The thing that still blows me away is the sheer amount of "storage" our brains can hold and how it equates to storage on a computer. It's insane to see how far we've come to understand the brain but it seems farther out of our knowledge the more that we learn about it
I missed my May 4th tweet but I was a little preoccupied by marrying my best friend, the love of my life, the best person I know. @kayla_wolfe yes our officiant was dressed as Ahsoka and yes we had lightsabers 😎
