The Glass Binding of 1697
The crystal is displayed today as a simple religious artifact in a German museum, its label cautious and incomplete.
Older records tell a darker story.
Monastery documents dated 1697 describe a failed exorcism in southern Germany.
The entity resisted every rite, manifesting violently during prayers.
When banishment proved impossible, the presiding cleric attempted something forbidden: containment.
Molten, consecrated glass was prepared in advance and shaped into a prism.
At the height of the ritual, a binding invocation was spoken.
When the glass cooled, the disturbances stopped.
A dark, human-shaped figure appeared inside the crystal, frozen mid-gesture with one arm raised, as if interrupted.
The demon had not been expelled. It had been trapped.
The object passed through ecclesiastical hands before entering a museum collection, stripped of its original context.
Curators later noted anomalies: the silhouette appears to shift when viewed from different angles, and air bubbles inside the crystal form unusual patterns.
Some staff reported headaches and a persistent feeling of being watched.
@Crunchy_DG@InnovaDiscs Some come from the factory store double stamped or with special stamps. Not all so I get your point. They sell those mystery boxes at the end of the year with extra stamps to pull in extra cash for tour series that didnโt sell. Just like every discraft does.
