Introducing the Genlayer shout out challenge.
It's no doubt that Genlayer has one of the most active and supportive community members at the moment. I've been on Genlayer for about 5 months now and I won't even lie the community has been my major driving force.
For this reason I'm introducing the Genlayer shout out challenge. In this challenge you're basically making a shout out to Genfrens that have had your back in the Genlayer Ecosystem, or Genfrens that have been a source of motivation to you, you don't have to be close to them to make a shout out. They might be a builder, or just a community member.
How to enter the challenge:
1. Make a post on X about Genfren(s) that has been there for you or has been a source of motivation. Your post could be a video or written content.
2. Express how they have been of help or source of motivation to you, and tag them as well.
3. Use the hashtag #Genlayershoutoutchallenge.
4. Tag the official Genlayer @GenLayer
Purpose of the challenge:
1. To make the community stronger
2. To appreciate other Genfrens
3. To make Genfrens feel seen for the work they're putting in.
4. To encourage other Genfrens to stay consistent.
Here's my entry below.
For me Genfrens that have been a source of motivation to me are: @stargirl_hills , @0X_CUPZ , @doja_web3, @Sam_Ifeoluwani , @Iamolaniyi_ and @glorykurofuo
I explained how they've been a source of motivation in my video below.

The GenLayer community is growing strong day after day with new members joining the community.
One thing about Genlayer is how supportive the Genlayer community is. Community members keep showing love to each other and team supporting contributors as well.
In a bid to make the community bond stronger and to encourage new members in the journey I'm Introducing the "tell your most memorable moment in the Genlayer Ecosystem" challenge.
Community members participate by doing a short video with a voice over telling us their most memorable moment in the ecosystem. Video duration should be between 30secs to 3 minutes.
How It Works:
1. Record a short clip, you don't have to reveal your face, it might be you just going about your daily activity, or you in your workspace, or you are facing your camera.
2. Post it on X by quoting this post
3. Video must include GenLayer branding
Purpose of the Challenge
• Bond with new community members.
• Encouraging community members to stay strong and keep showing up for Genlayer.
• To Make other community members believe in themselves with your story.
PS: Your most memorable day might be you winning a special contest, getting a role, deploying your first intelligent contract, building your first Dapp on Genlayer, minting your first POAP, ETC.
I'll tag some Genfrens to challenge them to hop on this.

PLOT-TWIST: THE FRIEND WHO DISAPPEARED IS BACK WITH SNACKS AND AN APOLOGY.
I understand that not all friendship last forever but there are some you don't let down the drain just like that. This is me coming out to apologize to my dearest friend for the long silence. It has been five years now, and I think it's time we quashed what ever made us went silent and get back to being best of friends that has been through thick and thin and the darkest days we never imagine to survive. An apology without a clear reason for my action won't be reasonable so here's me sharing while I went silent.
In 2020, we were miles apart as a result of the nationwide lockdown, and that was one of my darkest moments. I went through hell and my only mistake was not opening up. Firstly, I was robbed by a gang of robbers and my phone was taken from me. It was a really sour experience for me because I couldn't access the Internet and that was one of the reasons I couldn't reach out. And the time I finally reached out, you were griefing, and I understand what it means to lose one of your parents as I have been in your shoes too so I understand that you couldn't show up for me, and I couldn't as well.
I'm writing an apology because I cherish our friendship and I honestly miss every single part of our friendship. I hope you reach out to me my dearest friend, Everlyn.
@RallyOnChain
@Stephen_EdTech Finally someone relates with me, it's never too late no matter how long it might be, I hope she understands and we get back to being friends again. 🤭
