@DShyKnock @BCollamer Fans get everything for free, both the game itself and esports. Creates disconnected sense of value.

Not strictly financially, too. A fixation on MrBeast-style statsmaxxing creates hollow experiences lacking emotional hooks or weight - the tail has started wagging the dog.

@GordoCasts If you want to know your true rank - the simple answer is to get good enough to hit Masters.

Simply put, the ladder anxiety caused by de-ranking has a much larger negative effect than any visual rank frustration, and so Riot gates it away from most of the player population.

How the fuck are we still pandering to Elon Musk in 2025 man

[esports is trapped here @LegendsFollower]

@LSXYZ9 If optimal GM micro is causing this, it's time for CEO macro. If it's not a macro problem, Devs need to hotfix.

6/10 LCS Worlds reps may be gone. Unacceptable attrition for anyone who loves LCS.

Your premise is a red herring because winning this battle will still lose the map.

@GordoCasts @doc_respawn Bring me back to Spring 2023...

@BCollamer Fucking idiots like this?

[esports is trapped here @LegendsFollower]

@Shakarez @DShyKnock Even a single million would probably be enough run a tier 2 league twice as large as the NACL for over a decade.

[esports is trapped here @LegendsFollower]

@msanchez_tv Exactly the change I'd like to see, thanks for the response!

@msanchez_tv even if he wasn't*

[esports is trapped here @LegendsFollower]

@msanchez_tv I understand wanted to avoid SF (and NTMR) since they screwed over players, but the better way to white lie would have been to acknowledge Dhokla was also actually active in 2025, even playing games.

He did good work split-pushing, but broadcast hit him with the MIA pings.

@arshgoyal13 Turns out, the fan response to the article on Reddit is that the casters should be meaner, and that Palafox sucks too much to talk shit.

@RLewisReports NRG finessing Riot Games to take over CLG'S LCS spot via an equity deal, only to flip it for a cash buyout a year later.

Humanoid not beating the washed up allegations 💀💀💀

[esports is trapped here @LegendsFollower]

@emiliacosplay Assuming role distribution is about even, there's only a pool of ~150 supports between rank 3 vs rank 766 on the ladder.

Between weirdos who do things IRL and players already in active games, not an unreasonable occurrence from a role based matchmaking system.

@DSzajnuk @doc_respawn @deicideares But it's about $70 with $25 shipping and 4 week lead time.

If you order a jersey at the end of regular season it generally arrives after grand finals. Worlds jerseys arrive after Worlds.

Supply chains are hard, but it's still a huge letdown.

[esports is trapped here @LegendsFollower]

@msanchez_tv Funnily enough, I would say the opposite - while the economic backing had major benefits in terms of stability, having a single Riot-backed broadcast monopoly hindered innovation that leads to growth.

Viewers can vote with their eyeballs (and subs?) - may the best product win.

The iconic Chef Challe.

Today, we are parting ways with @insanitylol and thanking them for all the highlights and memories we made together on our debut year.

Thank you for it all, David 💚

@MarnMedia @DSzajnuk Shouldn't sinply existing be the bare minimum for them to expect support in the future?
