He was so good that the entire band essentially built itself around where Bootsy decided to put the one.
He later joined #Parliament Funkadelic and invented a completely different approach to bass that hip hop producers are still sampling 50 years later.
Seventeen years old.

The DJ who first played it got so many call-in requests he played it fourteen times in a row that same night.
