@Virtuagym Long-time HRT (hormone replacement therapy) definitely changes fat/muscle-ratio. For me it e.g. also lowered my TSH value. I think it's likely that standard calculations for neither male or female BMR would be really fitting for me.
@Virtuagym Hi! I am trans female and joined a gym that uses your app. Why does the app ask about the biological sex? There doesn't seem to be much scientific data on the subject, but I can't imagine that hormone therapy doesn't affect things like the metabolic rate.
My grandma told me that some people asked her about my sexual orientation. Is it normal to discuss other people's sexual orientation with their relatives? Or did they throw away all decency and good manners just because I'm trans and those principles don't matter in this case?🤔
I lost all of my cis-friends because they don't accept that I am going for FFS. And I don't understand why ... none of them had to cry and have breakdowns when confronted with their image in the mirror. I just want to see myself in a mirror and be happy. I only want to be happy.
And somehow it is like my brain got to a point to conclude: "Alright, we will bundle all of these single sensations and give you the ability to get a summary". I have no idea what to think about this. This happened and it feels to wonderful right now.
I had SRS about 3,5 months ago. No idea if others experienced something similar, but I unexpectetly gained the ability to perceive and feel my vulva/vagina as a distinct and whole part of my body. It feels soo good and I can direct the attention of my mind to it anytime now.
Honestly I have no idea how this happened. I spent more time exploring each single part of this area of my body than any other post surgery and sure, there was healing going on, there was some numbness (and there still is in some areas).
@socalledcharlie I'm at 1,5 years now and there were more changes in the last 6 months than in the first year. But this could also be influenced by progesterone (since 10 months now), GRS and life style changes.
