@BlizzardWatch Through interacting with Salanaar the Horseman in many DK quests (starter AND Legion), you're sent to "The Realm of Shadows" as stated by Siouxsie the Banshee. What IS this place? The Shadowlands dont seem to be a copy of Azeroth but this place is?
I'm curious as to the conclusion of BfA. Sure it feels like Blizz is leading us to think that the Alliance just wants Sylvanas to not run the Horde, but would Malfurion, Tyrande, or any night elf player ever forgive the Horde? Doubt it. The level of ruthlessness is Arthas v Belfs
@Saiisil If I'm honest, it feels like this is the direction Sylvanas has always been going. Maybe not necessarily Warchief, but she's always been about "by any means necessary, survive". She's been raising people as undead, used the plague on Gilneas killing innocents, children.
In fact, based off just motivations,I think the Horde has a far more interesting plot line going on. Despite it being called "evil", so far, Sylvanas has just been going along the lines of "Survival of the fittest". Some prefer that and some dont, and thats where the conflict is.
These reactions of outrage are coming from BOTH sides and I think that's exactly what we needed. Whether its A or H, players are invested in this story. And they're not even "evil" pigeon-holing. They GIVE Horde players a scapegoat in Saurfang. And you know thatll come into play.
War has a way of making—or unmaking—someone.
