The Gulf of Mexico is on fire, it's 112 degrees in Portland, roads and rails are crumbling from the sun, wildfire and hurricane season are here in record time and people are concerned about the cost of going green.
COMPARED TO WHAT?
I think everyone could use a lighthearted/happy story right now so here goes:
At the beginning of the pandemic I went through some painful personal stuff and would often go out at night for long walks because no one was around and I couldn’t sleep anyway. One night I was walking
Nursing is the best job until you can hear the patient’s 5 year old on face time (cause they can’t come visit) yelling “Dad! Wake up! Come on you can do it!”. But you know he isn’t gonna wake up. COVID takes another dad. I’ll never understand what part of this is partisan.
