She’s a Black woman who is proud of her body, isn’t ashamed of having multiple public relationships, raps about sex, & testified against her abuser which led to him going to prison. They all want to “humble” her & punish her. Just like recently Joe Budden was saying she needed to be held accountable. But couldn’t really explain what for. Lol.
This is such a weird take because feminism was supposed to be about agency and choice, not making sure women frame every personal grooming decision as a political hostage negotiation with the patriarchy.
Shaving because you want to shave is fine.
Not shaving because you don’t want to shave is fine.
Shaving because social norms make life easier is also fine.
Recognizing social pressure is feminist.
Having personal preferences is feminist.
Doing something because you genuinely like how it looks or feels is also feminist.
Autonomy doesn’t stop being autonomy just because your choice overlaps with a beauty standard.
If feminism only “counts” when women are doing things they don’t actually want to do just to prove a political point, then that’s not liberation, that’s just a different set of rules telling women what they’re allowed to do with their bodies.
j-hope doesn't just write songs—he builds performances.
Anchored in stage vision and choreography, his songwriting is driven by how each track will unfold live. It's why his work—whether with BTS or in his solo discography—so often becomes explosive concert openers that leave audiences stunned.
That sick fuck uses the money she makes from HP to accumulate power to oppress trans women. You cannot watch that show. You cannot support it. You must ignore her & her violence. Don't debate the humanity of trans folk, just opt out. That's how we can stand with the 1% of our GLOBAL POPULATION being scapegoated.
🚨 let me explain what just happened..
TSA workers .. the people who screen your luggage at airports.. stopped getting paid because Congress couldn't pass funding..
today Trump signed an executive order to fix it.. problem solved.. hero moment..
except..
Congress didn't go rogue.. his party controls it.. the funding stalled because of chaos in his own house.. TSA workers went without pay because of a problem he had the power to prevent..
and he had the power to sign this executive order the entire time..
in 2019, Trump's government shutdown lasted 35 days.. TSA workers called in sick in record numbers.. airports descended into a state of utter confusion.. security lines collapsed.. he eventually ended it the same way.. an executive order..
same playbook.. different year..
create the emergency.. let people suffer through it.. sign the paper.. take the credit..
Somewhere a TSA agent is paying their overdue rent with a paycheck that should have never stopped.
The Holocaust lasted for 4 years, and survivors and their descendants are still being paid out today.
Japanese-American internment camps lasted for ~4 years, and survivors were paid $20k each in 1988.
Slavery lasted for 246 YEARS in the US… yet no reparations for the families of those affected.
my (emphasis) biggest takeaways from the ‘bts: the return’ netflix documentary:
• taehyung loves armys to the moon and back
• namjoon is the one who keeps the group grounded when it comes to the ‘world’s biggest band’ title
• i need seokjin’s and jungkook’s raw vocals from the studio injected into my veins
• swimming pools hate to see hooligans taehyung, jimin and jungkook coming
• jimin is pure romance, just like hoseok said
• there is simply not enough content in the world of yoongi with a guitar
• bts have taken every aspect of failure and turned it into something magnificent
• seokjin’s passion, hard work, determination and trust in the members are truly beautiful to witness
• seokjin should open every concert singing the original ‘arirang’ track
• jungkook genuinely does not register how impactful he, his music or his talent is
• jimin speaks of bts as his home like armys speak of bts as their home
• nothing will stop hoseok from moving his body
• it’s possible to dislike sihyuk while also respecting his business acumen and instinct when it comes to bts
• i need spotify and apple music to get the live version of ‘swim’ on their platforms immediately
• bts is in fact the world’s biggest band
so soon his lips reach the very center of Izuku, and he sincerely thanks all his predecessors for the absence of any underwear beneath his clothes.
Katsuki’s tongue deftly traces a long line between the wet folds, touching both of the omega’s holes and ending its path at the tip
Correct and white men are the number 1 group responsible for family annihilation crimes. They are also usually considered upstanding citizens. You never know how someone acts inside their house. Domestic abuse is insanely common and often leads to homicide. Men are silent killers.
Please please please be careful about who you marry and have children with. Pay attention to the red flags, ladies! Do not ignore them.
