@BarryOnHere Bill Simmons had him level with Clyde Frazier.
Clyde: 7x all-star, 4x 1st team all-NBA, 2x 2nd team All-NBA, 7x 1st team all-defense, 2 titles.
Brunson: 3x all-star, 3x 2nd team all-NBA, 1 title, 1 finals MVP.
They're not remotely on the same level.
@BillSimmons@HousefromDC Clyde Frazier is still well ahead of Brunson on the all-time list:
Clyde: 4 first team all-NBAs, two second teams, 7 first team all-defense, 2 championships.
Brunson: 3 second team all-NBAs, 1 championship, 1 finals MVP.
@BillSimmons@LegsESPN@briankoppelman Simmons' take on game 4 of the '17 finals is so bizarre. The Cavs won by 21, set an NBA finals record for 3s, and the Warriors had 5 MORE free throws. But the refs stole that game from them? Huh?
@WolvesXWrld People are wildly exaggerating how many were goaltends/fouls. His second block (on Shannon) was an obvious goaltend and he had a foul on Gobert. So 10 were legit. The one on Reid was super close but I think he barely got it on time.
@haiti4eva No idea where these numbers were pulled from. Here's the real stats: 23.8 5.7 5.7 and a 9-11 record in the last 20 games. He missed 12 games right after this.
@haiti4eva@oneofunknown Assuming you're referring to MJ missing 12 games in Feb. and Mar. 2002, the Wizards were one game below .500 at the time of his injury (27-28). 8th in the East.
@ConorONeill_DI Physics: height h = g t^2/8, where g = 32 ft/s^2. So to get 3 seconds hangtime, h = 4*3^2 = 36 ft. 4 seconds: h = 4*4^2 = 64 ft. Don't think much more than 3 seconds is reasonable.
@himothygang@NBA Two other playoff games last year under 20 - yeah it's a regular season thing but people dismiss Lebron's 10-point streak because of playoff games in '11 and '14.
