Missing Villans.

It's 3 and a half weeks after the World Cup 3rd place and Final. 2 to 3 weeks short of a proper mental and physical rest needed for players to go again. Don't forget the World Cup is always AFTER a hard season as it is and Villa played big games until late season.

So those Villans moaning about 3 important players missing the Super Cup Final, I'd say this..

In 2 days time, win or lose, nobody is giving a fuck about the Super Cup. It's a trophy, yes, but a bonus, not a must. Must was beating Forest to get to a Final or Liverpool at home to basically cement CL by league position.

For those games, players need those fumes to run on. So let them fucking get every day of rest they can because we need them late in May, not early in August.
