Starting to feel better (hopefully it will work out) and I worked on this some more. Lots of touch ups, but some more actual painting, too 🎨 Trust the process!

Despite having the mother of all migraine headaches and being in bed half the day, I’ve painted 🎨 if you can’t tell, it will be tie-dye with a blue jean vest 🌈

3 and a 1/2 months later and I’ve painted the base coat

So far I’ve not done much in my crafting goals, but we are only day 3 into the new year. I cleaned up my crafting area and finally feel good about working. I’m waiting for my owl to dry from its base coat, then I’ll work on the rest of it.

I started painting this a few months ago for my mother. My goal is to finish it in time to send it to her for her birthday at the end of the month (start date was May 18th 😅)

Working on this owl for my mom. She sent it to me to paint and said she wanted it for the Kennedy half dollar coin (she’s a collector) and I wanted to theme it around the 1960s and since the ear was chipped, I figured why not add a flower crown to it too
