We are having a Seaside Summer Crafts afternoon at our base in Hadleigh Thursday 20th July, 2 to 5. We are indoors and outdoors so why not drop in with the kids after school. There are free activities, some costing 50p or £1, refreshments including drink and a cake for £1

Declan remained a regular visitor to the community centre and so his connection to Leigh Town Council and the staff was ever present. The flag at the community centre will fly at half mast today and will be lowered again on the day of his funeral. RIP Declan

A statement from the Chairman of Leigh Town Council:

"At the Community and Culture Committee, held on Tuesday 13th June, councillors agreed to pause the funding of the mosaic project.

A number of points and concerns were raised by members of the committee and it is hoped, following a meeting with FoLLG and Southend-on-Sea City Council representatives, that assurances can be provided and funding for the project can continue.
