I’ve always hated the phrase “west end star” because it’s only ever used to describe the lead roles. Do ppl know how hard ensembles, swings, stage management, resident creatives, box office staff, FOH staff, wardrobe, wigs and crew work? Anyone works in that theatre is a star.
