I live each day as it comes and I don’t partake in the shenanigans of the society. Risk Management | Finance | Data Science | Knowledge seeker | Lover of Nature
All your problems are your own fault. Lack of discipline. No confidence. No courage. No responsibility. Bad decisions. Stop complaining and change now.

My friend in Ijesha just got his two-bedroom apartment increased from ₦1.5 million to ₦3.5 million.
He pleaded with the landlord to compromise to ₦3 million, landlord told him not to discuss it with him, either pay the ₦3.5 million or pack out.
“It’s not worth it dealing with someone everyday of your life. I have a good man, but I’m not sure I’m making the right decision being married.” — Woman opens up
Your husband is the only person who ever loved you purely by choice.
Your family was already written into your story.
Parents loved you because you were theirs.
Siblings stayed because you shared blood.
Even your child is there because you’re the mother.
But your husband walked in as a complete stranger.
No obligation.
No duty.
No shared past.
He could have built a life with anyone else.
Yet he chose you.
Chose to grow old with you.
Chose to call you home.
That kind of love is never automatic.
It is a daily, deliberate decision to stay, especially when it’s hard.
So never forget to thank the man who still chooses you every single day.
Really takes one self-hating African to destroy everything...
And because we haven't implemented consequences for such traitors and their offsprings, we will continue to have more traitors in the future.
Privilege is such an interesting thing I often find myself thinking about. We do not ask for the life we have, and that is why I'm very mindful of it. You often find it a lot in my writing.
Last week, my cleaner told me on Monday(2 days ago) was her birthday. I asked her what age we are celebrating and she said 33. Epiphany hit me that my agemate is my cleaner. I wore a wry smile as I nodded my head and told her to remind me on Monday so she could get her gift.
I then went to my room to deal with the epiphany of privilege. In another universe, that could easily have been me.
