@324cat La colla vella va ignorar el capellà i va fer el recorregut de sempre. I la coordinadora els va multar i continua defensant el capellà! Perquè no ho està explicant ningú això??

And here we are again. #paddingtonRec Track booked 8-14.30. It’s 12am and the school has finished. This is not fair and it happens every other day during 2 months. @ActiveWCC @w9maidavale Why on heaven schools can close the track for 6 hours when they don’t need so much time?

So… nope. No school showing up today at the #paddingtonRec. Sports facilities closed from 9 to 15. It’s 10.13 am. Empty. Seriously, this is not right. @ActiveWCC @w9maidavale

@ActiveWCC @w9maidavale This is not a one-off. Many schools book the track for six or more hours and then don’t show up, or they use it for just 1-2 hours. It happens every year during the 2 months that the track is closed almost every weekday. What a waste of resources.

Why do we accept so easily that a public space is only so until a private school comes and closes it for themselves? Couldn��t we challenge this unfair model? @w9maidavale

Fantastic morning at #paddingtonRec track! School kids running, racing and fighting the obesity pandemic while *sharing* the space! There’s no need to close the track to run on it… Although that wouldn’t be so lucrative for @ActiveWCC

Hi @ActiveWCC Athletics track at the Rec is booked and closed 9.30-13.00. At 11.30 is already empty. Schools book hours that they don’t need. That is not a fair use of a public space. Thank you. @w9maidavale

Hi @w9maidavale Rec’s Athletics track will be closed the whole morning for TWO MONTHS. Friendly remainder: a year has just twelve of those. — I understand @ActiveWCC likes to make money with sports days. But is two whole months a fair use of a public track??

@Nebelwind @w9maidavale @ActiveWCC You are right, it’s not very expensive to book the whole aports facilities. That’s why they book all the fields and the track from 9 to 15. Then they play hockey from 9.30 to 11, run from 11.30 to 12.30 and football from 13 to 14.30.

@walkieas @w9maidavale @ActiveWCC I think I would be fairly easy to plan in advance the period that they really need to use the track and book it for that time, maybe 2 hours. And then they can use the rest of the sports fields during many hours as well!
