Finally, porn ruins the Christian life. It defiles him and separates him from God.

Apostle Arome taught something important about worries and anxiety—and how to deal with them.

He began by highlighting the various worries that often trouble us as Christians:

Rent is due, school fees have piled up, there's no money to start a life, education seems uncertain, illness strikes, poverty looms, failure threatens, and so on.

He acknowledged that these are real and valid concerns—but we must not allow them to control us.

This is where the solution comes in. He said that every worry, every instance of anxiety, should drive us to prayer.

BRETHREN, THE RESPONSE TO ANXIETY IS PRAYER.

He established this from Philippians 4:6-7:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by PRAYER and PETITION, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the PEACE of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

This is it, brethren! Anxiety should lead you to prayer—not despair.

But you have prayed. How come nothing has changed?

Wait for the peace of God.

Apostle Arome teaches that God changes you first before changing the situation.

The PEACE of God comes upon you—this is the assurance of faith that He is in charge.

Once this peace comes, help will follow.

Lastly, this kind of prayer is a petition. A petition is a formal request to an authority for change or intervention.

A petition is granted when the authority responds.

So don’t stop at just praying—with thanksgiving, keep asking your Father in heaven to step in.

Make this prayer cyclic. DO NOT STOP UNTIL HEAVEN STEPS IN.

When God sees that He is your only hope, He will step in.

"For a humble and contrite heart, He will not turn away."
