Despite being well out of the permitted 128 hrs time, Tamil film star @arya_offl & his team pushed on to complete the 1,500km of #LEL2022. He's not the last rider back though #SpiritOfLEL

And we've heard via Facebook that the third tandem pair also made it back to @Lel2022Finish on Friday night. The moral? If you want to ride #LEL2022, ride a tandem. 100% success rate.
I know what Mrs @Lel2022Finish would say if I suggested doing something even a quarter as long as this on a tandem!
Bravo riders L32&33 Tracey and Kevin.
@AudaxUK@TandemClubUK
And here are riders Z25&26 Laura and James on their amazing 1x11 Dolan machine with aerobars for both pilot and stoker. Bravo you two and good to compare tandem notes.

There will still be riders completing the 1,500 km of #LEL2022 later than the 128 hr limit. The ethos of audax is that anyone tacking the audacious challenge is a winner regardless of whether they make the cut off or not. It's not a race - it's a personal test & it's a community
Meet Parthiv Patel, in the very last group to start, so rode solo started falling behind at Malton, arriving at closed controls, stuck until 5am waiting in the cold for Humber bridge to open yesterday but arrived at finish with 1 minute to spare #HeroesOfLEL#LEL2022
So 1,550 started, 940 clicked in before we closed last night, provisional completion rate of 60% (53% in 2017) and there are still riders rolling into Debden. Countless people helped and cheered along the way #LEL2022
I'll let official channels confirm counts once cards have been verified, but it's clear that most of the riders who made it back to England will have made it to the end.
Lots of riders still out there on the trackers! https://t.co/35AyaaAIvL
Good morning and goodbye from @Lel2022Finish, somewhere on the M25. @deckertim and some of his team of volunteers are still on site for the tail while striking the set. I've had an absolute ball this week - as lots of riders said (really!) can we have another go next week?
Finished Friday at 20:21…That’s a wrap for the worst hen do ever…well there might be a few fizzy drinks to celebrate. @muddyshoes66@LEL1500km#LEL2022#LEL1500
@whoopydeedoo@ianmac55@Lel2022stives At the finish they'd acquired a Brummie Sikh and one or two others. And they queued up at the finish like austerity-era Brits. Fantasticos!
Your early evening update from @Lel2022Finish as the riders keep rolling in. 840 or so are in, 80 or so more are this side of Great Easton, and then there are somewhere between 25 and 50 still rolling.
Congratulations to all the riders!
