The Friends of the Leland Library started in 1999. The Friends of the Leland Library, which was formally organized in 2001, now has about 250 members.

The Friends of the Leland Library will hold a Paperback Tent Sale on the Second Saturday of April (April 13th), from9am until 1 pm. Our tents will be outside the Leland Library at 487 Village Road in Leland.

Membership Special - Members of the Friends of the Leland Library may purchase anything at half price! If you purchase a new membership or renew your present one on that day, you can be included in this special.

Inside the Leland Library, you may also shop our book shelves for hardback fiction, DVDs and audio books. These items are all $1 each. The shelves inside the library are always available for shopping at any time the library is open.

Outside, there will be a Paperback Tent Sale on the grounds of the Leland Library. As usual, paperbacks are 50 cents each, DVDs are $1, and children's books are marked even lower than that!

• Move boxes of books and shelving units from the shed to a U-Haul truck
• Detach shelving from walls in the house & move to U-Haul truck
• Move filing cabinets, desk, and other office furniture to U-Haul truck
• Remove ramp from the shed

Hello Friends! First, let me start by thanking you for your continued support and patience! The FOLL board has been hard at work to find a new location for our monthly book sales. We are still working on this and we are encouraged by some potential sites,

Our sale shelves at the Leland Library is fully stocked with new books. We also have a children's bookshelf fully stocked with books for sale. The children's books are only 25 cents or 10cents.
