Uncommon advice: If you don't know what to pursue in life right now. Pursue yourself. Pursue becoming the healthiest, happiest, most healed, most present, most confident version of yourself. Then the right path will reveal itself.
Zinc in the morning. Magnesium at night. Vitamin D with your first meal. Vitamin B12 in the morning. Do it for 30 days and tell me your energy sleep and mood didn't completely shift.
if you walk into a room where everyone is running, you'll eventually start running too, even if nobody tells you to.
that is exactly how standards work.
stay around people who normalize excuses and mediocrity becomes reasonable but stay around people who normalize discipline and laziness starts to feel uncomfortable.
you rarely become what you dream about, you become what your environment treats as normal.
for example, when you already have a job, other job opportunities keep chasing you.
let me explain why.
the universe responds to frequency and there are two types of frequencies. the frequency of "i want" and the frequency of "i already have."
for example, when you desperately need money, your energy screams, "i lack. i am broke."
that is the frequency of lack you vibrate.
the idea is that the universe responds to the frequency you project, not simply to what you say you want but when you vibrate the frequency of "i already have," you begin to focus on abundance instead of lack.
to change your life from lack to abundance, stop saying, "i hope to be wealthy." instead, say, "i am already wealthy." so practice gratitude, be grateful for the things you already have and for the future you are working toward. believe as though you have already received them. this is what christianity defines as faith.
buena suerte 👍
You should study what makes you defensive. The topic you avoid, the joke that irritates you, the question that feels insulting, the feedback you instantly reject. Defensiveness is usually the guard dog sitting in front of a weakness you have not trained yourself to face.
BEING SHY RUINS YOUR LIFE
You’re losing opportunities. Wasting potential. Low on energy. No drive. Lacking courage. Living in fear. Fix it. Stop caring about other people’s opinions. Get what you want. Be unapologetic. Don’t ask for permission. Get angry about your life. Start fulfilling your mission. Pursue your goals. Focus on your interests. Confidence will become part of who you are.
Shyness doesn’t decrease with age.
It fades with experience.
The more you master yourself, which is one of the hardest things in life - the more confident you become, and your shyness disappears.
It comes from childhood, where you were taught to always be polite, but that’s not how the real world works.
i know it sounds kinda stupid. but regardless of how simple it is you have to embody being a delusional optimist. you’ll open unexpected new doors and effortlessly 10x your quality of life. there’s no reason to be a self sabotaging pessimist.
Fast replies. People who think out loud. People who are messy. Who wear their hearts on their sleeves. Patience. Carefulness. Tenderness. Vulnerability. People who make you laugh when your throat is filled with tears. People who teach you things without making you feel dumb for not already knowing it. Pinky promises. Giving tulips, or any flowers, really. Reading books. "Text me when you get home safe." Seeing a person as imperfectly perfect. Respecting boundaries. Being able to handle a no. Understanding that humans can feel different emotions toward the same situation. Understanding that sometimes space is necessary. That it's not personal. That they're allowed to. People who check on you without any reasons, just because they care. Attentiveness. Laughing at your jokes when no one else does. Wit. An open heart. People who make you feel safe. Not having to second guess whether they want you, because they show you. Communication. People who understand and don't just listen, and when it's difficult, they're still willing to. Remembering tiny details about someone. Someone who brings you light in your times of darkness. Someone who shows up for you. Someone who brings you a sense of ease. People who greet strangers and compliment them. People who treat workers with respect: waiters, cashiers, janitors, everyone. People who make you feel seen, even through oceans of people. People who just want you to be happy. Physical touch as a love language. Someone tracing their fingers along your jaw when you're asleep, or the sides of your face. Touching your skin like you're made of porcelain. Like you're everything valuable in this world. Like you're their world. Like you're everything.
Even Pablo Escobar built schools, clinics, homes and funded education for the people in his favela.
These dogs are buying Lamborghinis & Porsches with our hard earned taxes. Fucken hell mate.
We defeated your racist apartheid parents & their government. We defeated the US & UK regimes that stood with them. With the full might of the people behind the most glorious global human rights campaign in history: the anti-apartheid movement.
We will defeat you too, with your robots & dollars!
