JMPD Director of By-law enforcement noticed a young woman drinking on the streets of Mayfair during the High-Impact Service Delivery Programme. He compassionately sat beside her and gently counselled her about the dangers of the path she might be heading down. He encouraged her to change her ways, reminding her that she still has a promising future and that she deserves a better life. At just 21, she seemed to have lost hope in herself, but Fortein gave her renewed hope and gently assured her that she matters.
