Earlier this year, all of third grade wrote letters to the president addressing issues that we found important to us. Today, we got mail, can you guess who it was from?
Today we took a stroll to the South Seaport to observe the Wavertree 1885 cargo ship. We reviewed the history of Mannahatta and the importance of trade throughout NYC’s history. This trip wrapped our exploration unit in social studies!
We wrapped up our PLP presentations this week. Our experts taught us about black holes, technology, and Red Tail Hawks. Excellent work, third graders!!!! 👏🏻 👏🏻
We are learning so much from our experts on their PLP topics! We’ve become more knowledgeable about Roblox, natural disasters, Angelica Schuyler, and retro tech.
More PLP presentations this week! So far this week we have learned about the North Sentinel Island and the Sentinelese, Fae, dragons and Guyanese food in 513!
“This is the best day ever!” Some of the 513 students shouted as soon as they lined up for Ben and Jerry’s ice cream after an amazing field day this morning! Thank you to the faculty and LCA committee who helped make this day special!❤️
