As they continue to learn about Indigenous culture and traditions, PreK 4 has been discovering the art of weaving. After learning about its significance to various tribes, students got to work practicing the art form themselves. #lemanmanhattan

Upper Schoolers in the Furry Friends Club volunteered at Meowsquad, a non-profit cat rescue center in Howard Beach. As a club dedicated the welfare of animals, students were thrilled to help care for the cats throughout the day. #lemanmanhattan

Ms. Shamey's 10th Grade Spanish Class wrote "Cuando era niño/a" (When I was a little boy/girl) books describing their childhood, and even got the chance to share their stories with the 5th Grade Spanish Class!

Last week, ninth graders took a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a part of their study of ancient civilizations. Led by Mr. Ulmer, students explored the museum’s Egyptian Wing and were especially wowed by the Temple of Dendur.
