David Cone retires all twenty seven Montreal Expos at Yankee Stadium on July 18, 1999, Yogi Berra Day.
Don Larsen had thrown the ceremonial first pitch to Berra a few hours earlier, then Cone went out and did the thing Larsen did in 1956.
Final 6 to 0, the sixteenth perfect game in major league history, finished in two hours and 16 minutes.

Mattingly had never hit a grand slam before 1987 and never hit another afterward.

Steve Jacobson.

โIt was perhaps the most beautiful tribute Iโve ever seenโฆit just knocked me out.โ

Michael Kay used the iconic Bucky Dent Home Run call when George Lombard Jr. hit one over the head of Mike Yastrzemski, the grandson of Carl Yastrzemski.
"Yastrzemski will not get it, it's a home run!"
