True (mostly). Eastern Orthodoxy doesn’t use the Roman Catholic categories of ‘cardinal’ or ‘deadly’ sins.

Yet the Holy Fathers are unanimous: pride is the root and mother of all sins, the passion that felled Lucifer.

As St. Anthony the Great taught, ‘Reject pride…’ The path forward is to embrace true humility through repentance, self-accusation, and dependence on Christ’s grace.

The S&P 500 has reached a level of centralization that eclipses the peak of the dot-com bubble and the pre-crash reality of 1929.

The top ten components now dictate 41% of the index's capitalization. We are witnessing the "Great Narrowing."

Simultaneously, the Shiller CAPE ratio has hit 41.83, a metric surpassed only once in 155 years of recorded market history (March 2000). Yet, instead of seeking a margin of safety, retail capital has abandoned security analysis for a $20 billion prediction market casino.

The market is relying on the linear assumption that the AI hardware supercycle will never face software optimization. But the architecture is deeply fragile. When the algorithmic momentum breaks, it becomes a forced-selling machine.

Nick Stamatakis’s recent expose on @helleniscope blew the lid off the mediocrity and personal corruption inside the Greek-American community.

My 10-year battle against an unlawful federal prosecution is the live proof of how deep it goes.

When I exposed a multi-billion-dollar pharmaceutical giant for exploiting the sick and dying to inflate their stock, the company weaponized the SEC to crush me.

But the real knife in the back came from two compromised individual actors inside the Greek-American community.

In October 2019, after the SEC lost a major court battle, Fr. Ted Barbas went to federal investigators and lied to federal investigators about me to re-invigorate their failing case.

Why? Pure retribution because I exposed him in @BostonGlobe for his catastrophic role in a Maine clergy sex abuse scandal.

He didn’t just cover up the crisis, he created it by placing a known predator, Adam Metropoulos, into an unsuspecting Bangor parish.

Then, in February 2020, attorney George Tzougarakis (now at Hartmann Doherty Rosa Berman & Bulbulia) stepped in to shield Fr. Barbas from his own exposure, colluding with the SEC to concoct an entirely new lie to try to see me imprisoned and my defense counsel, Doug Brooks, disbarred.

It backfired spectacularly. The courts completely vindicated me on the fraud charges. Now, the SEC is being dragged into federal mediation to determine exactly how many millions of my legal bills they are now forced to pay.

And the ultimate irony? As Stamatakis pointed out, Tzougarakis, a mediocre hack with zero real credentials, is now slated to be honored by The Hellenic Federation of New Jersey.

He is a profound embarrassment to the Greek people and the proud Cretan heritage of honor and courage. He belongs disbarred.

Before you hire a high-priced corporate attorney, do your due diligence. Some don't practice law, they practice cover-ups.
