Today, as the Chair for the S79 OC on Utilities, I revisited the Soshanguve Block L sewer repairs project. Progress has been made, but more work remains. With the Dept of Water & Sanitation, we are committed to fast-tracking repairs and restoring dignity to affected residents.

We visited another property belonging to George Asaba, which we previously referred to the High Court, resulting in a court order to vacate.

This is an illegal structure, and we discovered that they had tampered with municipal infrastructure by illegally connecting water.

We have successfully disconnected both their water and electricity.

Another succesful operation with 5x illegal foreigners arrested and loads of Rotten meat loaded being sold to residents. In Hammanskraal. Outdated chips in process of repacking also to be sold. We call on residents to be watchful before just buying food.

Today's Reaspana operation with all stakeholders departments was held in Ramotse Hammanskraal. Bylaw enforcement teams loaded expired goods and big loads of rotten meat was confiscated that will cause serious illness to our people. 5x people was arrested. Mayco formed part of operation

Todays Reaspana operation was held in Hammanskraal Ramotse where roads were repaired; trees was pruned; stormwater cleaned; provincial roads assisted closing some potholes. Streetlights repaired waterleaks repaired in region 2

By-Law Enforcement: We have discovered a meat retailer in Hammanskraal that’s selling expired meat and other food products. The store, Hammanskraal Hawkers One Stop, is managed by Chinese nationals. #ReASpana @CityTshwane
