@RivenHarlow Sorry you're going through that, I got slammed with almost the same thing on a new house purchase l. Was not happy, I got away with 10k for the sewer line alone. 6 years later I had to have the line jetted so I was grateful for the clean outs they installed.

@RivenHarlow Okay, was about to say! And if they are replacing the galvanized lines in the house and the sewer line outside the house, makes a bit more sense about the price. Multiple quotes wouldn't hurt tho just to have options.

@RivenHarlow I understand the warranty issue and it's working for now right? If not, I'd def be looking at a refund. Did they end up jetting and that's why the 3k cost? Or did they cable the line to clear the roots?

@RivenHarlow Seriously, get other quotes. Companies are happy to give free estimates for this. I work for a company that does this. A full sewer line replacement with clean outs is anywhere from $10k-15k (Nebraska btw) that's with concrete pouring, permits, gas line location AND landscaping!

@RivenHarlow Holy moly....that seems really excessive. Get other estimates. Also, homeowners insurance?? Also, you paid 3k to fix and still have this issue? Get your money back! If you have trouble, consider filing with the attorney general or consumer protection.

I spoke up for a friend because I could tell he was upset at how he was being treated. I point it out in a private setting. Now I get shunned from the group as a whole. I'm not surprised but I'm past trying to stay in toxic relationships just to keep friends. It's not worth it.
