@peachypop_cos As someone who saw vgc as overwhelming, this felt like the perfect step into the competetive world of pokemon, I see a small but versatile variety of pokemon and items, enough to challenge and teach me, without seeming useless from game to game. I am loving it!

The Pokemon community has unbelievable standards of what pay to win means 😂😂😂 MFs got a free to play game, with a 7 dollar battle pass and you can bring over anything you’ve owned from previous games and they’re calling it a cash grab 💀

I know a lot of people are upset at the Pokémon champions release but as someone who’s never played VGC I’m having an absolute blast 🙂

Hopefully they fix a lot of the issues but for someone like me the barrier of entry is so much lower now, which might be good?

As someone new to competitive, this game feels like it was meant for people who want to dip their toes in and see if they like it... And I do. I like pokemon champions and hope to see it expand back into more items and pokemon
