@jiucum Even if he had been mocked in the past, it would be both strange and foolish to keep picking on someone so powerful, a genuine hero. On top of that, everyone knows Yue is a really kind person, which also makes him an unlikely target for ridicule.

@jiucum That's probably true. What's more, Yue was one of the key figures in defeating Tianlang jun, which inevitably earned him great respect within the sect (and brought him worldwide fame!)

@jiucum So they're using anything they can to ruin his reputation and get him kicked out of his spot as the head disciple. And some people are just going along with it because they can't stand Jiu's personality and all that other stuff.

@shenjiumeow Liu gets pricked, gets mad, and the cycle repeats. Basically, they’re stuck in a loop where Liu’s frustration just makes Jiu defensive, which makes Liu even more pissed

This trope is old as hell, but I stan 😔❤️

@shenjiumeow Liu was into Jiu at first - dude seemed cool. But then Jiu fought dirty, and that went against everything Liu believes in
Now Liu’s stuck he wants to like him, but can’t accept his methods. So he lashes out, tries to correct and every time, Jiu throws up his walls
