Thank you!
Can't believe i actually managed to do it... Top 1 by prelims end, following the path of my GOAT @ertiga_ren
Thanks to everyone! I will continue trying my best for the rest of the rounds!
@Tsuntenshi I halfassed my current rebuild and now it's taking a bunch of extra purchases and time to get it looking the way I want
what kind of specs/budget are you looking at?
@Tsuntenshi probably good chance that most of the hardware's still good then, maybe check the SSD since I had a friend whose computer died like that and it turned out to be an SSD failure
if you're interested in a custom build better to get it out of the way than a case transplant later
@L6MI_ yeah that's rough
9800X3Ds on /r/hardwareswap go for <$400 pretty regularly but if your order had the Crimson Desert code it's not too bad
do check the serial on your RAM kit, if the last three digits are 2_A it's the best stuff
@L6MI_ unfortunate timing
there were even better bundles a couple of weeks ago but getting this and selling one of the RAM kits would be huge value https://t.co/PVAEABMabv
@jourdal odds are low since it's all summons rate down, but yes, at least wait through that
she seems a lot more narrow in applications, so figure out if you really need her
@Rhapsody39 Arctic sells B-stock AIOs on their eBay storefront every once in a while at nice discounts ($60 shipped for black 360mm, $70 for white ARGB)
Thermalright Frozen Edge/Infinity are around $50ish
FWIW I have an Arctic LF3 360 and it's just ok; wasn't blown away by its performance
@Rhapsody39 I was thinking of an mATX build for both space and budget savings, in which case there'd have to be some other parts selected, but that's moot
is the choice of an AIO for aesthetics? $35 air cooler + $15 of case fans will work fine, but there are also 360mm AIOs for ~$50
@Rhapsody39 would go with a Montech Century II 850W for a good value PSU
Best Buy has refurb Samsung SSDs for $110-120 for a 2TB; might have to inspect their amount of usage and firmware update but I think it's worthwhile (I'm using one as my main drive)
any case in mind?
@Rhapsody39 B850 Gaming Pro Wifi + 7800X3D is $461 there with code QE253D, looks like the best value right now
it's lacking PCIe 5 but that won't affect a 5070's performance
you can post a PCPartPicker list if you'd like me to take a look
