@JaeGamez Castlevania Belmont 's Curse. Also any other Castlevania. There are a lot of "true Castlevania" experiences, because there are Castlevanias in different styles.
@vanessablues@BocataJamonEHM Seguramente antiguas sesiones suyas.
@Idontcare987123@exQUIZitely We see your point, but you are missing that those games truly lasted that many hours and kept us entertained because learnimg them was part of the process. Sure, I'd also take most modern games over older ones because they have better practices. But not all of them, in both sides
@Mazryonh@exQUIZitely Like Twitter's twits, as I stopped ther because limitations. Suoer Mario World is quite long if you don't take shortcuts and beat every level. Demon's Crest too, the DKCs, Yoshi's Island. The limit was real in the NES, but with the SNES and Megadrive they could make longer games.
@Mazryonh@exQUIZitely Kinda but not always. FF VI and Chrono Trigger, by example, were long games. As in about 20 to 30 hours to finish and way more for 100%
Most RPGs were like that. Soleil, Shining Force 1 & 2, Terranigma, Secret of Mana, Zelda...
It is more like NES games were like that.
@Idontcare987123@exQUIZitely Took *45 minutes to beat.
*If you already knew the patterns, behaviour of the enemies, spawn points, where to get the power ups and had the muscle memory to do all that, which took hours upon hours to learn and develop.
And in my country they cost the equivalent to 30$ then.
@gorrillavision@__vasnormandy That already made it's story way more deep than most Castlevania, which are "Kill Dracula". And I disagree, it plays fine.
