EXCLUSIVE: Sunday nights will become a feature of the 2027 AFL season, with overlapping matches removed for those who want to finish their weekends with a footy marathon https://t.co/lybBr341O8
@couch_specimen Based on what just dropped, Carlton has 4 in the first batch…
1 in Darwin
1 in Perth
2 in Vic (one backs into public holiday)
So no is the short answer
@wadevstheworld@AFLSC_Noah@lukesssssssss33 since when has overlapping days games been an issue? The AFL manufactured the issue by over lapping prime TV viewing times being fridays and saturday nights. It's not rocket science and it wasn't broken until they broke it themselves.
@AFLSC_Noah@lukesssssssss33 The fact it’s called the “graveyard slot” says it all.
The fact people are defending this is fucking staggering, no one wants it and yet the AFL continue to ignore that fact.
@happyharrygrant@lukesssssssss33 Dear families, your team has 11-ish home games, but you can only see 5-6, because, fuck you, your kids already have Auskick.
@AFLSC_Noah@lukesssssssss33 Well what games are you referencing then? If your team is banished to Sunday night matches what earlier timeslot game are you taking them to that involves their team, Noah?
@happyharrygrant@lukesssssssss33 Yeah fuck giving them the experience of live football, crowds, celebratory hot jam donuts etc… all those sorts of memories past generations cherish and reflect on… you have Auskick kids, fuck you, that’s enough. 🤦♂️😂
