The @esabcc_eu has today published its advice to the @EU_Commission for an EU #2040ClimateTarget & GHG budget. The board recommends a budget of 11-14 Gt CO2 for 2030-50. This requires emission reductions of 90-95% by 2040 (rel. 1990). Here is what the report says more 🧵(1/n)
