Ciekawostka lokalna - w konsulacie #Kolumbia w Warszawie zarejestrowanych jest 3567 mieszkających w naszym kraju kolumbijskich wyborców. We wczorajszych wyborach zagłosowało 1065 z nich (to 29,8 proc.
Deal z KE negocjowano jeszcze wczoraj w nocy - mówi Magyar.

Following Israeli Minister of National Security Ben Gvir’s release of a video showing the rough handling and abuse of Gaza Freedom Flotilla members in an Israeli detention center, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot announced that he is banned from entering France. The video, released earlier this week, received backlash from decision-makers around the globe, including some U.S. officials, and prompted a number of nations to summon their respective Israeli ambassadors over the matter.

💥SCOOP: Hungarian PM Péter Magyar plans to bring half a dozen ministers to Poland on his first official trip abroad, @VSquare_Project has learned. It was already known that Kraków, Warsaw, and Gdańsk are on the prime minister's itinerary – but not that he would be arriving with such a large delegation.
Multiple sources familiar with the details of the Hungarian PM's first official trip abroad say that, according to current plans, Péter Magyar will be accompanied to Poland by half a dozen ministers, which is virtually unprecedented in the recent history of Polish-Hungarian relations.
On Friday and over the weekend, various sources cited figures ranging from four to eight ministers traveling with Magyar — but with the visit now a day away, it appears the final number has settled at six.
The PM is set to be joined by Foreign Minister Anita Orbán and Culture Minister Zoltán Tarr, while Economy and Energy Minister István Kapitány, Defense Minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, Transport and Investment Minister Dávid Vitézy, and Agriculture Minister Szabolcs Bóna are also expected to take part in the Polish talks. National Security Adviser Péter Tóth will also be present.
Magyar will not only meet with Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his government – a meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki is also planned. (Nawrocki was elected as the candidate of the Law and Justice party and met with Viktor Orbán in Budapest in the days before the election.) Talks with the speakers of the Polish Sejm and Senate are also on the agenda.
As Magyar has already announced, his Polish itinerary includes stops in Kraków, Warsaw, and Gdańsk. He is set to arrive in Kraków on Tuesday afternoon, May 19, then travel onward by train to Warsaw in the evening to hold meetings the following day, May 20, with the Polish leaders mentioned above. Current plans also include a same-day trip to Gdańsk, where he will meet Lech Wałęsa, the former leader of the Solidarity movement and ex-president of Poland.
Magyar will then continue from Warsaw to Vienna on May 21 for talks with the Austrian government.
The over 4 million Afghan refugees in Iran are the overlooked and forgotten victims of the US/Israel vs. Iran war.
When war broke out, countless Afghans lost their jobs in construction and other informal work. Now, as income collapses and inflation bites, they are left unable to feed their families or pay their rent. Food costs nearby double what it did a year ago. People are forced to skip meals, delay medical treatment, and take on debt. All while enduring the horrors of war and displacement.
It is a glimmer of hope that NRC has provided thousands of families with emergency cash to buy the essentials and afford food. We are providing mental health support to children, parents and teachers, and we are repairing war-damaged schools and providing safe places for children to continue to learn. The war has displaced millions.
We have funding from Norway, Sweden, and the EU. Other donors are so far unresponsive, while so much more is needed in the deepening crisis. We currently only have funds for another 1,000 families — many others requiring urgent assistance will go with zero. Without further funding, our emergency relief will run out of money in one month.
Since 2012, NRC has been in Iran supporting Afghan refugees. We have scaled up our aid to both vulnerable Afghans and Iranians who have lost everything in this war. We are uniquely positioned as a primary responder on both sides of the Iran-Afghanistan border, we have an operational presence in nine Iranian provinces, and are at key transit and reintegration hubs in Afghanistan. Our operations urgently need funding to do more for the millions in need.
Wcześniej podobne zakazy wprowadziły m. in. holenderskie miasta Bloemendaal, Haarlem, Haga, Utrecht i Zwolle.
Restrykcje w tym zakresie obowiązują także w Cardiff, Edynburgu czy Florencji.
Podobne działania toczą się także w Australii i Kanadzie.
Timely meeting on Ukraine with @ZelenskyyUa, co-chaired by President @EmmanuelMacron and PM @Keir_Starmer in the margins of the @EPCArmenia to take stock of our different work strands on Ukraine.
We will continue to support all efforts towards a just and sustainable peace, including by stepping up our pressure on Russia.
Ukraine’s future is in the EU. We will keep working together towards this goal.

BREAKING: Viktor Orbán quits Hungary's parliament after 36 years – confirming my earlier scoop that he's planning a longer US trip this summer, where heads of the Orbán business empire – his daughter and son-in-law – already live, and where he could seek refuge from prosecution.
