@cosmic_marvel "I feel like my soul yearns to be part of the official Spider-Verse." = "Give me some of the residuals on a multi-million dollar movie. Have you seen how expensive beef and chocolate is these days? They paid me peanuts in the 90s. That Brady Bunch movie did me little favors."
Not gonna lie. I was emoting #PeacefulHips at everybody as everybody. Kate Bishop did it. Every Spider-Man did. Black-ass Captain America did it! #fortnite
@diggingforkrpod I know Crisis is an important story with big moments, but is it a good one? Every time it gets adapted or updated, the response seems to be "That was kind of a convoluted mess," and I think to myself, "Well, yeah. Have you slogged through that book lately?"
@diggingforkrpod@thedanjurgens Loved this episode. And thanks for asking Dan about Sensational Spider-Man! I know it's a Superman podcast, but that little diversion was a delight.
@diggingforkrpod How great is this news?! The Showrunner Whisperer podcast did an interview with Jake Wyatt about all the behind the scenes stuff that might be good research for when you do an episode on season two.
As I slide into the warm bath of "crotchety old man" status like The Andrea Doria, I try to maintain some distinction between the things that are true affronts to society and what are really just my minor pet peeves, but it's all slipping away. #MidlifeCrisisOnInfiniteEarths
In case you were worried, whoever got SPIDEY as a vanity plate in Missouri is leaning into. Me? I'd have a red Beetle detailed with weblines and eyelets on the headlights to look like Spidey's head, but this works, too.
"Lawrence enlists Todd's services to find out the sexual orientation of a judge." That's the synopsis of this weeks episode of #SoHelpMeTodd I haven't watched it yet, and I'm sure it'll be fine -- I like the show -- but I have a lot of problems with that sentence.
One day, I'll write "Recreation Myths: The Majesty of the Divine Continuum." It's original title: "Kiss My Grits: Why Do White Fanboy Writers Need to Masturbate for 6-12 Issues About Whether or Not Their Favorite Imaginary Stories 'Really Happened' or Not in the #DCU?"
@diggingforkrpod Finally listened to a few of your Kingdom Come commentaries. I came to that book in the oddest way. Do you remember Wizard Magazine doing that article annotating all of the Easter Eggs? I read that obsessively before I had the money to buy that series.
The work must always speak for itself, but my process has morphed and evolved in a way I think is worth mentioning. The Writer-Man Method is for everyone who's more Writer than Man.
I know it's dumb, but I really wish NBC had waited to broadcast the Quantum Leap finale today. I wanted How I Met Your Mother to do the same thing on Mother's Day.
