“Davey Hearn is my constituent, a native-born resident of Montgomery County, a three-time Olympian canoeist, and a famed and celebrated teacher and coach of canoeing and kayaking in our community,” Raskin stated. “He is beloved in my district as a model citizen whether on water or on dry land. He is a great guy.”

The 67-year-old Hearn was arrested last month and indicted by a grand jury (an incredibly easy hurdle to clear). Prosecutors absurdly accused him of "forcefully and violently” tearing up the pool's liner and damaging the sealant. The accusation came as Trump was desperately trying to insist that the hilariously botched renovations were the result of leftist vandals and not the natural consequence of hiring incompetent, crooked contractors to perform the work.

This prosecution is a waste of our time, tax dollars, and a blatant abuse of federal power to help a failed President save face.

"Davey Hearn would never desecrate a federal building or landmark by writing his name on it or affixing his name illegally to it or engaging in any other kind of political graffiti, vandalism or delinquency,” Raskin continued, clearly referring to Trump’s actions. “He would never intentionally damage government property. Whether we are talking about the White House, the Reflecting Pool or the Kennedy Center, Davey would never try to alter, bulldoze or redesign federal property or buildings without explicit Congressional authorization and direction.”

“Davey is an honorable and law-abiding citizen who has won real giant prizes, including eight world championships,” Raskin added. “He did so without any corrupt practices and only through his magnificent hard work and surpassing dedication to the team. He would never try to undercut or sabotage anyone, much less our entire community.”

If he’s found guilty in this ludicrous legal saga, Hearn could face up to 10 years in prison, an absolutely vile miscarriage of justice as Trump, a pedophiliac, war criminal felon continues to walk free.

🚨A Georgia Trump supporter who accused Joe Biden of being a p*dophile and called for p*dophiles to be executed has just been arrested on child m*lestation charges.

Meet Robert Raymond Tilley, 58, of Waynesboro, GA. Burke County deputies arrested him June 23 on four counts of child molestation and three counts of aggravated child molestation. Bond was denied. According to the incident report, the victim told deputies Tilley inappropriately touched her more than 20 times over the past three years.

This is the same guy who shared a meme calling Biden a “p*dophile.” The same guy who shared “liberalism is a mental illness” content, posted a meme calling for “p*dophiles” to be shot — “2 in the chest, 1 in the head” — and insisted teachers who “indoctrinate” kids “should be terminated” from their jobs.

He even posted a joke “Wanted by the FBI” mugshot of himself. I bet he doesn’t find that so funny anymore.

He also defended Trump’s treasonous actions on January 6th, writing that Trump “is not responsible for those people being stupid.”

BREAKING: BOOHOO! The President of the far-right Heritage Foundation throws a massive fit over a "tremendous betrayal" after the Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship.

If these monsters are upset, it's a beautiful day for America....

"The Supreme Court’s ruling on birthright citizenship is a tremendous betrayal of the republic. The Justices in the majority have inflamed the all-out assault on our sovereignty and cheapened the sacred value of American citizenship," Kevin Roberts wrote on X.

"Universal birthright citizenship erases any uniquely American birthright—a distortion that was never the meaning or intention of the 14th Amendment. It is time for a constitutional amendment to correct this gross injustice," he added.

In reality, the court's 6-3 decision was rooted in the clear wording of the Constitution. Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch dissented while conservatives John Roberts, Amy Coney Barrett, and
Brett Kavanaugh voted with the liberal justices. It's presumably this "betrayal" that has Kevin Roberts so incensed.

Here's a good rule of thumb: if the Heritage Foundation is upset, our democracy has just survived a major attack.

This is the same Heritage Foundation that authored Trump's "Project 2025," the fascist blueprint that he began implementing the moment that he was sworn into office for the second time. This so-called "think tank" masterminded the gutting of federal agencies, the brutal immigration crackdowns, the assault on DEI initiatives, and the wholesale demonization of transgender Americans.

These people don't care about preserving America. They want to shred the Constitution and mutate this country into a white Christian Nationalist hellscape where only corporations and the super rich have rights.

We should celebrate it every time that they suffer a setback.
