I made a 5-minute action film in 9 days using AI.
I think the biggest misconception about AI filmmaking is that it's just “write a prompt and get a movie.” It's not even close.
I generated over 600 images for this project. Most of them were bad. The good ones needed a lot of manual cleanup, cropping sections, upscaling and adjusting with Nano Banana Pro, and then stitching multiple images back together.
Sometimes a few hours just to create one input image.
I generated over 370 clips. About 100 made the final cut.
The two tools that made it possible:
→ Seedance 2.0 for action scenes and consistent multi-shot
→ Kling 3.0 for dialogue and everything else
Neither tool is perfect. AI filmmaking is still filmmaking. Story structure, pacing, cutting more than you think you should. None of the basics of storytelling change just because the visuals are generated.
I documented the entire process in this 29min breakdown.

What's the hardest part of AI filmmaking that nobody talks about?
@apapaprilxoxo Yeah absolutely! I have a form you can fill out with all the details about your project which will give me a good idea on the scope of the project! 🙂 https://t.co/Dh8HM4ifvm
I made this 5min fantasy short film using Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0. Not a 15-second clip, but a full narrative with characters, dialogue, and action sequences.
It's called BONE THRONE, and it's my entry for the Higgsfield Action Contest. #HiggsfieldAction
You can also watch it on Higgsfield: https://t.co/zGX8ESj9KO
I'll be sharing behind-the-scenes breakdowns soon, so if you've got questions about the process, drop them in the comments. 👇

Kling 3.0 dropped last week.
While everyone's excited about 15s generations, I'm more excited about 3s.
Why? AI video struggles when you ask for too many actions in one shot. My solution is to break up the actions into individual shots.
But generating quick actions in 5s generations has issues. The model has to fill the time, so it slows things down, adds filler movements, or just gets weird.
Now with custom duration down to 3 seconds:
→ Quick actions actually feel quick
→ Less "padding" your prompts to fill up time
