@HMRCcustomers My husband is due £100 following a complaints process. The letter asks him to contact 0300 322 9548 to provide his bank details so it can be paid. The phone number is not working. One ring and it ends. He’s tried a generic number and someone said to keep trying the faulty number?

@MartinSLewis Be good to do something on this. In our household a salary will soon be above on £51,500 but 6.8% of salary is deducted for pension and a small amount into private pension so will that take back below threshold meaning don’t have to pay the higher charge?
