That's what's confusing - there are studies that do support this claim. Are they just outside the mainstream, or did you assess these claims and find no support?

@operarocksme I peel the whole thing in strips (or halves), then cut the avocado top to bottom (longitude lines!) all around the seed. So it’s not taking the seed off, it’s undressing it. Ends up with a pile of thinly sliced avocado plus the seed.
