❌ Pak based Social media accounts are circulating an old video claiming that “senior Indian Army officials walked out of a key meeting after the Government denied funding against Pakistan and China.”
✅ Fact: The claim is totally false with a misleading video. The viral clip is not related to any recent defence meeting. It is from a March 2025 joint press conference concerning an assault case, where the Indian Army and Punjab Police addressed the ongoing investigation.

The judgement in the Tahir Hussain case is yet to be released. And when it is, we will delve into the details. But here’s a word of caution.
Yes. Tahir has been convicted. But the greatest battle is still ongoing. With his conviction, the propaganda to save Umar Khalid is going to be louder.
And as for Tahir Hussain, the appeal process is likely to begin - feverishly.
They are going to give it everything they’ve got - as must we. The battle isn’t over. It’s just starting, sadly.
This was the crowd on Tahir Hussain’s building terrace on 25 Feb 2020
Ankit Sharma went missing on evening of 25 Feb
His heavily mutilated body was fished out the next day from a clogged drain on the right side of Hussain’s building
I visited the site the same day - locals were sure that he had been kidnapped and dragged inside this building and lynched
Tahir Hussain and four others have now been convicted of murdering him “because he was Hindu”
OpIndia was the first to label the Delhi Riots as Delhi Anti Hindu Riots. It was a pogrom against Hindus, something we spent 6 years proving and writing about.
Today, the court agrees.
Ankit Sharma’s body was recovered from the Chand Bagh drain on 26th February 2020. He was stabbed so many times that his intestines lay out of his body.
On the 27th, @sardesairajdeep was defending Hussain.
Today, 6 years later, Tahir has been convicted of the murder.
This news is completely false, baseless and misleading.
I had fantastic meetings with USTR Jamieson Greer, @USTradeRep, when he visited Delhi in June. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to an agreement that is balanced, commercially meaningful, and delivers tangible benefits for businesses, farmers, workers, and consumers in both countries.
Our teams remain fully engaged in achieving this objective.
