At 32 I was editing Papa Ajasco and Super Story, trying to become a director.
One night officers who had been drinking shot me through my car. I am 47 now. The hand is dead. I edit with my left hand for $10 and $20 so my children can eat. I won in court.
The police have ignored the judgment since 2015. The officer’s name is in their own report. Ayuba Philip ID 257745.
Please tag em until @TunjiDisu1 & @CspIniedu see this impunity. Thank you

OUR POSITION ON THE NEW TRANSPORT TICKETS
Greatest ife! Articulate Ife!
We have observed that the newly introduced transport tickets on our campus now carry the photographs of past Vice-Chancellors of the University, including Prof. Wale Omole.
As a Students’ Union, we believe that symbols displayed and circulated within our campus must be approached with proper regard for the history of the University and the experiences of generations of students.
Prof. Wale Omole’s tenure remains a deeply contested and painful chapter in the history of student activism in Great Ife, particularly in relation to the events surrounding the killing of five students which included one of our Heroes (George Iwilade Afrikka) during the July 10, 1999 massacre. His name has consequently remained a sensitive subject within the student community.
We unequivocally condemn and ask that the continued sale and circulation of this tickets be put to halt.
This position is not about disrespecting anyone or attempting to erase any part of our University's history. It is about respect for the memories of those who came before us and sensitivity to the feelings of the student community.
It is also important to state clearly that the Students’ Union was not consulted or carried along on the design of these new tickets before their circulation and the commencement of the new ticketing policy on October 1. Despite the fact that the Union leaders and the Director of Guesstimates are share a WhatsApp platform together where such matters could have been communicated.
We therefore call on Guesstimates and University Management to suspend the circulation and sale of the affected tickets and engage the Students’ Union in a sincere and constructive conversation towards an alternative that respects both the history of our University and the sentiments of our students.
We believe that matters concerning students and what represents them should never happen without students having a voice.
Great Ife remembers.
Great Ife respects its history.
And Great Ife students must always have a voice.
Aluta Continua.
You have to be a special type of devil to be a politician in Nigeria.
You also need to be a special type of demon to follow them even in the face of all this.
Back to this. When a police officer killed a civilian the police did not hold press conference like this. They did not parade the police officer like this. We did not hear of the final judgements or how the case was being handled.
@PoliceNG please we deserve the same transparency and accountability on this Delta state police officer's murder case.
Sadio Mané reportedly put around $20M into a project in Africa expected to create 1,000+ jobs.
Not a single word of appreciation from you.
But the moment an African who abandoned his roots does anything, you’re suddenly first in line to worship him.
Your priorities are disgusting. We need to actually free ourselves from this slavery that allegedly ended over a 100 years ago.
The politics of Great Ife has been redefined of recent times. The Faculty of Arts and Agric associations currently have female presidents. Law, Pharmacy and JCI also have outgoing female presidents.
It's great to watch Great Ife ladies stepping into positions of responsibility.
The union is not silent and the union will NEVER be silent, when it comes to the interest and welfarism of Great Ife students.
Attached below is a response given by the President, as regards the Guestimate issue. Expect a X space tonight to discuss the session's wrap!
