@therapatical 😖 I don't know how much age contributes to its duration. Whether someone being closer or further away from menopause or perimenopause makes a difference. I just remember folks talking about it a lot more being a thing when I first came out.
I dedicate this trans day of visibility specifically to transmascs and trans men, who lack visibility, their issues ignored and sidelined, and are made to feel ashamed of their manhood rather than celebrating it.
My heart goes out to you ❤️
@outmagazine Hollywood continues to view trans men as women and each time they cast another cis woman to play a trans man or nonbinary masc person, the world continues to think that too. You'd think things would have changed since 1999, but here we are still erasing trans men's existence.

As you may have heard, “The Thing” has been added to the Library of Congress. We made the movie to push against the edges of what we could pull off, and it carries that strain in its bones. Seeing it now treated with the same care and reverence we had making it means a great deal to me and everyone who brought it to life.
I especially want to remember TK Carter, who brought heart and humor into that desolate, frozen place and should be standing here with us today sharing in this recognition.
Thank you to everyone who continues to keep it alive.
AI holiday ads continue to be ass. The song isn't a parody bc the rhythm/rhymes are way off. & there's no charm to the disasters shown bc they clock as fake. It's all literally so soulless. These ads are what villains create in holiday films so they can fire all their workers.
The message of this ad is “the holidays suck” and it’s solution is to spend as much time in McDonald’s as possible. Forget your friends and family…have a Big Mac.
The song is poorly written, almost certainly written by AI because it doesn’t fit the original rhythm at all and at the end it just makes up a passage.
The visuals are pointless, because it’s just random nonsense like most AI videos. There’s no weight to anything, despite the focus being human “failures.” They’re not shot well, and moreso not “real,” so it leaves no impact.
It’s hard to recall a more soulless and ingenuine piece of work than this.
