I have this actress who's from Ukraine but she can do a British accent almost like a switch. She asked: would you prefer me doing the British one? I told her: Nah keep that ukrainian accent, adds mystique & very exotic for audience ears. Personally I love anything unique
I showed screenplay to a actor & him & his agent decided not to join up (Idk why) up to him tho but wished me well afterwards
I thought really? Well he's read lots of scripts maybe he'd give me constructive feedback on mine. So I asked & guy completely Disappears
- Charming π
I also got told something about the screenplay: "These group of Antagonists, they appear in one scene and never heard from again"
-Well yeah they are out of reach of the protagonists but they help explain the story as a whole and magnify it.
@FiendishFitz 100%! I've written the doctor role as a doctor who sees a zombie girl he's examining as like a long lost daughter/grand daughter thats met a tragic end. I could put in a mature woman doctor instead but then the other character in the scene is also a woman so its also for balance.
I have a actress that wants to play in the film I'm doing but she's wanting the screenplay re-written & all sorts. To play the role of a doctor but I've written it for a fatherly type middle aged doctor with decades of knowledge. She's in her late 20s/early30s. It won't work π
Someone said that making a film is like going to War. I think I'm getting stuff thrown at me for sure.
There's like an opposing force;
"He's trying to create something, throw things at him!"
-Make a camera not work randomly
-Have some of his equipment Lost in the Mail
*Laughs*
I love the aesthetic of old formats, super 8, vhs, minidv. VHS is definitely used less than the other two. Might have to shoot some things with it. "why do that?" Because I can π and I will π
I like the look of WiX as a website, I think that'll be good to put films on there. More DIRECT. Obviously you have to build a network but I think indies have to monopolise on their films. Everyone else is monopolising on businesses/studios. Why not indie film-makers to theirs?
I find interesting, colour grading only really began to start in 2010 which COINCIDENTALLY occurred when 3CCD sensors got replaced with CMOS. I think to make up for loss of saturation. Modern ones got better since then ofcourse but I think there's still life in 3ccd cameras
I think alot of film-makers do storyboards but I don't know, I think it would be fun to just go to the location and just see what works. Discovery & Intuition. Film everything so you don't end up returning back for needed additional shots
I don't know, technically Disney owns the IP to Star Wars. Lucky his film didnt even get taken down to be honest. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say.
