Found these old photos of a plastic suit we made for Ben Stiller for Zoolander 2...the cloth was not easy to work with but we did our best to help him be really really really ridiculously good looking
Amazon just released a docuseries where Kal Penn explores the global economy. In the beginning of ep. 2, we measure Kal for a new suit, which is apparently a prerequisite to being a psychopathic businessman. Not sure if we totally agree, but it was fun to film the ep in our shop!
Len made this tux jacket for himself before he moved to the USA from London (almost 30 years ago). He brought it by the shop to be pressed (and surprisingly not to have the waist let out!) It’s slightly longer than the jackets he currently makes, but is still 100% wearable
Blazer, made from a beautiful English cashmere & lined w/ a silk print of the famous Klimt painting, Woman in Gold. It was painted in 1907, stolen by the Nazi’s in 1941, & eventually was returned to the family in 2006 - the 2015 movie, Woman in Gold, recounts the story
Great shot of Leonardo DiCaprio wearing a 90’s styled double breasted suit we made for him for The Wolf of Wall Street. You can clearly see the difference in how his lapels “roll” compared to Jonah Hill’s factory-made suit
The costume designers for the movie “Frost/Nixon” recreated the interview setting absolutely perfectly. Heres the original & the movie recreation w Frank Langella & Michael Sheen (wearing our suits). Notice how they were able to make every detail the exact same as it was in 1977
In this candid photo of Len walking, you can see how his jacket rests cleanly over his (less than stellar!) posture. When making a custom jacket, taking the client’s posture & body figuration into account is equally, if not more, important than the actual measurements taken
