Ministry, as ordained by GOD, does not admit fractions. It is not measured in portions, nor negotiated in percentages.
It is the total yielding of a man unto the counsel, the will, and the demand of GOD.
For there is a cry in the Spirit against the reductions we have made, a cry against the portions we have offered and called “all.”
We have given much, yet withheld the rest. We have stretched, yet stopped where it began to cost us.
The altar still demands everything. The altar does not receive in parts; it consumes all. And anything that escapes the altar will eventually contend with what was offered upon it.
This is not a light matter.
Because what is withheld becomes the ground upon which resistance to GOD is preserved within a man.
And so we preach, yet something in us is untouched.
We serve, yet something in us is unbroken.
We lead, yet something in us is unyielded.
And that hidden fragment weakens the whole.
GOD does not anoint in fragments; HE anoints the man whole.
We need to stop comforting ourselves with what we have given and begin confronting what we have withheld. For ministry is one hundred percent, and this is where the weight lies. Because to say “one hundred percent” is to say there is no reserve, no protected preference, no untouched corner.
It is to come to the place where GOD does not contend with you anymore, because there is nothing left in you resisting Him.
But who is willing for this?
Who is willing to be stretched beyond what is reasonable, beyond what is convenient, beyond what is explainable to men?
The dealings of GOD are not gentle to the flesh. Because of the requirement, many have drawn back, not in rebellion, but in preservation,
not knowing that preservation is the enemy of consecration.
So the call intensifies: stretch,
not in activity, but in yielding.
Stretch until obedience is no longer selective.
Stretch until giving is no longer measured.
Stretch until your life is no longer your own.
For until a man comes into total yieldedness, he will continue to touch the work of GOD without fully carrying it.
And this is the burden we cannot escape: that a generation would rise who give GOD everything.
Not most.
Not much.
Everything.
We do not need more ministers; we need surrendered men, men who will not stop at eighty percent, who will not rest in progress, men who will stretch until nothing remains.
For in that place, GOD will finally find expression without any hindrance. And territories, long resisted, will begin to yield.
In this spirit, I call my brothers, those who have decided that they will give JESUS rest by ceasing from resistance and choosing to stretch.
Let us stretch together.
@RonJulio1942@MoremiofAfrica@blessIngIdowuj@SpiricocoNg And for John 19:7, claiming to be God's son equates to being equally God. See the end of this verse;
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
— John 5:18
@RonJulio1942@MoremiofAfrica@blessIngIdowuj@SpiricocoNg Matt 28:19 actually affirms the Godhead rather than roles as you said, because there were no roles listed in that text. And the fact that baptism was equally done in the name of the 3 deities in the Godhead proves that they coexist as 1.....
@Timztech@RonJulio1942@SpiricocoNg That's actually what proves they are 1. If seeing me doesn't literally translates to seeing my biological father in the ideal sense, then seeing Jesus translating into seeing his Father means they are one
@michaelfasina@RonJulio1942@SpiricocoNg Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
— John 5:18
The end of this scripture clearly states that addressing himself as God's son also meant equality with God
@sumailalahm@michaelfasina@RonJulio1942@SpiricocoNg Your interpretation is even way off the charts. "I have said, ye are gods......" notice the capital "G" Jesus used in addressing his deity, and small "g" used in v34. Jesus also never claimed to be this "god". And you'd see that everytime a leader was referred to God, it was "g"
@RonJulio1942@Benitowrites@SpiricocoNg You'd have to justify them trying to kill Jesus for what he did not say he was or what he—like you said "distinguished" himself from, and Jesus not defending himself in that scenario if he truly was not claiming God
@RonJulio1942@Benitowrites@SpiricocoNg No you did not.
As a matter of fact I think it's appalling if you can't see that the Jews understood his words and the text more than you do in this case, because why would they want to kill Jesus for claiming to be God if he doesn't unequivocally states so?
@Preacherrapper@v_olarinde You postulate that the original interpretation meant they were doubtful of God's deliverance. That is not so.
It's a confession of "we would die to stand for the living God if it costs us our lives"
@Preacherrapper@BinalayefaG For someone who read that scripture "in context", you seem to have missed that in the well know interpretation seen across translations, they maintained the statement of faith which they stood on.
@lumiere451@Preacherrapper You should also ask why the public embarrassment was an option in that scripture. Indicative of such being a norm. Fornication is the problem here but it's embarrassment that's our concern
No couple who kept the bed undefiled would be afraid of a pregnancy test or embarrassed.
