TIL: FSD disengagment for exceeding the max speed does not break your streak. So when I stomped that overzealous BMW that tired to challenge me, the streak continued. Nice. Okay, now back to FSD.
Le vieux du quartier m’a dit : « N’oublie pas que la boussole a été inventée avant l’horloge parce que la direction est plus importante que le temps. »
@dallasteslaclub Saw a friend of mine at the dealer the day I decided to buy mine. Checked in later about how he liked the Model Y and this is what he said.

I took a 3 and half hour trip last week and learned my kids tolerate travel hours much better when there is less rushing around and transitioning from waiting point to waiting point.
And let's be honest... the battery range will outlast your bladder every time.
With how amazing Tesla FSD has become, I’m at the point now where I actually prefer to drive rather than fly in most cases.
FSD allows you to travel cover an incredible amount of distance without any major fatigue since the car handles 100% of the driving, charging, and parking.
It also makes the trips so much more fun and rewarding. People always ask, don’t you get bored? My answer is actually no, we get to explore so many new places along the way, take in the scenery more, and it’s just overall a more pleasant experience than manually driving and stressing about which exit to take etc. FSD handles all of that for you.
If you have a Tesla, or are planning to get one, I highly suggest taking it on a road trip somewhere. It’ll be the best roadtrip you’ve ever taken.
Real talk, I've considered doing this. Mostly for market research purposes to prepare for the Cybercab and Robotaxi launch. If I knew that Cybercab Rev share is not pooled and depends on the Cybercab starting location, I'd be leasing locations in hot spots for each cab.
This might a dumb question, but how are you supposed to use drive thrus without breaking your 14.3.3 FSD streak? There's a coffee shop near me with no real parking on site. The car pulls into the drive thru line but tries to jump out of line and go around... longest streak 72.9mi
I know every generation has their class struggles, but let me tell you about the summer of 1990 when Supersoakers hit the market and only a few kids could afford them and the rest of us were hunted for sport.
@Simply0DTE Coming back here to give credit on this call out. Took me a minute to find it because I forgot to bookmark or screenshot back on the morning of May 5 when I first saw it and loaded up after DD. Looking good so far.
I want to buy a fleet of Cybercabs to serve the St. Louis Metropolitan market as soon as possible. I'd like to buy 10 or more. I'll lease a space and operate out of an industrial park. I recently sold a business and am ready to roll. @Tesla@elonmusk
Today, we gained another percent on Self-Driving. This car has changed my life, and I am incredibly grateful for and appreciative of it. I am soooo bullish on @Tesla.
@wholemars "Follow the car ahead - caravan mode" and "location sharing to the Tesla Nav app - where your contacts can share their real time location and display it on the navigation app"
It's mindblowing that a few months ago I was living completely unaware this was possible. Now I rarely drive. I merely "ride driver seat" 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time, I have the funnest car in existence. I am so bullish on Tesla, it's unreal.
The day I made the decision to buy the Model Y, I bumped into an old friend at the Tesla dealer who was thinking about leasing one. He text me that night and told me he bought it instead. Yesterday, he text that it is so good that he'll never buy a non-Tesla again.
I can dig it.
