@snv_berlin https://t.co/gtokHDMLX5
I am amused (and a bit shocked) to notice there are already books and handbooks on the AI Act, company certifications on the AI Act, professional certification courses on the AI Act ... and the AI Act does not even exist!

I've seen a bunch of nontechnical explainers of how large language models work and this is the best one I've come across! Draws from many papers that peek under the hood. https://t.co/OLaMl2QZPn
The #DSA sets out the unprecedented task of auditing algorithms. @EURACTIV provides an overview of the main challenges ahead from the perspective of auditors, platforms & civil society. With a question on the background: who will audit the auditors?

Trying to make sense of Biden's @POTUS "Voluntary Commitments from Leading #ArtificialIntelligence Companies to Manage the Risks Posed by #AI"? Let us assist you with it. Spoiler alert: We need laws, not voluntary codes. #AIA#AIAct#AIgovernance 1/8
„These findings suggest that EU policymakers should explore strategies to boost civil society participation, while also exploring institutional innovations to fill the regulatory gap.“ @AdaLovelaceInst über ⚡️KI-Normung & Beteiligung d Zivilgesellschaft🔥 https://t.co/8BJjN9CAre
Whats behind the hype about #ChatGPT? Together with @pegahbyte and @AlexCEngler I have discussed what sets #GenerativeAI apart and how these systems could be regulated by the EU's #AIAct. You can read what we learned here https://t.co/x9u2q1Dl83
Over the past half year, a group of Eurocities member cities have developed a free to use and shareable data schema for #AI registries.
It helps explain the use of #ArtificialIntelligence systems by government organisations. 🤖🏛️

„The European standardisation bodies will be required to be experts on fundamental rights. Still, civil society organisations have often lamented that technical standards are insufficient to protect fundamental rights.“ 💯
#AI Act: The Commission published its draft #standardisation request, only addressing it to CEN/CENELEC, with ETSI's role reduced to mere consultation. @EURACTIV brings you what's behind the decision and the main changes compared to an early version.

#AI Act: EU countries have adopted the general approach to this landmark legislation. For a summary of what the Council's text changes compared to the original proposal, @EURACTIV has got you covered.
The ball is now in the European Parliament's court.

Heute wäre ich also überflüssig😉
AI has been destroying humans at adversarial games, like Chess or Go, for a bit.
But now it is successfully outperforming humans at Diplomacy, the classic multiplayer game that requires natural language negotiations over chat, as well as strategic lying. https://t.co/e6V7pHQnkO
@Ani_Klin@AlexCEngler Not pen-testing but maybe this ("prototyping exercise") goes in a similar direction. supported by META...so some bad-faith actor inside, i guess ;-) https://t.co/NdhuagntsJ
Who? What? Why? How? -> still the central questions re #AIAudit. Would add a "What then?" because sometimes it's also about the consequences that (should) follow from audits. https://t.co/btKUi6hLLc
