It is funny when as a society we look down upon occupations like that of a mason, electrician, plumber, technician etc not realizing the huge importance of it at the core of our existence. No AI can ever replace it while most of your white collar jobs can be. #DignityOfLabour

The CEO of L&T says they aren’t able to find skilled people like carpenters, masons etc. Huge shortage.

It’s a huge dilemma, One mason’s son cracks UPSC, No mason wants their son to be a mason. Everybody wants white collar job. Coz that’s what is ‘dignified’ in our society. No body wants to marry their daughter to a mason.

A lot of jobs are discarded coz they aren’t marriageable. Even if one has to sit at home.
