@wanderjegson I believe the scene was trying convey the theme of moving forward as hopeless as the situation is. Later in the episode we see other characters like Renji and the two shinigamis in the human world who refuse to give up despite of Yhwach being completely broken at that point.

@theoceanblooms @colegatetv489 I'd argue his boss fight in Rebirth wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to fight every single Summon JUST to have a shot against him. Imagine if you had to beat a boss rush before you could fight against Yozora. That would be hell.
